The Abyss have opened DotA server,which combines old Bettle-net play style,with a familiar friend-leaf, channels, user-friendly chat and of course, clans!
Ordinary server wait 250 milliseconds,this one only 100 and this value may decrease host to an unprecedented 50,what brings the game to a whole new level. Now there is nothing to prevent you to show your skills in micro-control with full force!
Those who have been playing "Garena" already know what kind of torture you suffer ,if host have weak computer or low connection.You will not meet with such complications in our server.
Now DotA game mean something, every one of you can see the number of victories and defeats, with information on the heroes and statistics on them, in the form kills, deaths, assists, and others. Each game is recorded in your personal match list with excellent rating system, with the general, commanding and ranking.
In other words, we now have DotA ladder,so lets get started! My personal opinion about this beta season: Of course, I tried this as soon I found out about it and I must admit that I found more advantages then cons.
Here are few disadvantages:
1.There is no button to click,if you want to see games list you must press alt+G.
2.You can't chat and be in game at same time.
3.Battle-net is old style,not so attractive for players. However,this server have few nice things which I found very attractive for myself.
1.iccup launcher is very simple to install and run.
2.You can join any game,any time.
3.You can always see your statistic.(wins,loses,kills etc.etc.)
4.When player join game,everyone can see how many games he left already which is one of best things here!
5.There is anti hack system which protect your account absolutely! Finally,main fact is that iccup server have few thousand people, while Garena is counting over 11 000 000 accounts.
